Why use Global Treatment Plus?
Global Treatment Plus offers the option for your client to be treated at some of the leading hospitals and facilities in the world. When treatment is required, speed is of the essence.
Global Treatment Plus allows fast access to hospitals and consultants around the world to get treatment underway and give your client peace of mind.
How does the Global Treatment Plus process work?
Global Treatment Plus allows your client to focus on their health while all the logistics of having treatment abroad are taken care of. With the help and support of a case manager, your client can decide where they want to receive treatment and who they want to perform it. It gives them much more choice including options that might not be available in the UK.
Your client can travel with up to two family members or companions and three if the claim is for a child. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered as well as a daily allowance of £50 per person per night for those travelling. If required, an interpreter will be available to help your client translate medical information and provide support throughout.
Upon return to the UK, cover for any ongoing medication costs up to £100,000 is provided, as well as follow up care, which could be performed within the UK or abroad.
