Zurich news article: Allianz BRIC Stars - change of name and fund objective

On 27 May, the Allianz BRIC Stars fund changed its name to Allianz Global Emerging Markets Equity. At the same time, the fund’s objective changed

Previous objective:
The Fund aims to achieve capital growth in the long term by investing mainly in the equity markets of Brazil, Russia, India and China.
New objective:
The Fund aims to achieve capital growth in the long term by investing mainly in the equity markets of countries which are represented in the MSCI Emerging Markets Index (each an “Emerging Market Country” and together “Emerging Market Countries”)

How will we communicate these changes?
We will be writing to you and your clients to explain the changes.
We will update the fund names in as many areas as we can.
For Sterling Bond, Zurich Pension (ZP), Sterling ISA and Sterling Investment Account, we will update:
Illustration systems
Policy administration systems
Fund factsheets
For all remaining funds, we will update the underlying fund name and fund objective on the fund factsheets but illustrations and policy administration systems won’t be changed until later in the year.
All literature will be updated as part of the next reprint.
